Terms

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This page is maintained by the LeadHawk team and describes the terms under which the LeadHawk web app and Chrome extension are offered. Using LeadHawk means you agree to what's below.

1. The service

LeadHawk lets you search public Google Maps listings by country, city, and niche, and filter the results (rating, review count, whether a website is listed). The service is provided as-is and evolves over time; features may change, be added, or be removed.

2. Acceptable use

  • Use LeadHawk for lawful outreach, market research, and web-design agency workflows.
  • Do not use the service to send spam, harass businesses, or violate anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, PECR, and equivalents).
  • Do not attempt to overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the LeadHawk backend itself.
  • Do not use the service to build a competing dataset for resale.

3. Third-party data

Lead data displayed inside LeadHawk originates from Google's public Places API. Google's own terms govern how you may use that data — including limits on caching, storage, and display. You are responsible for complying with those terms when you export, save, or share leads.

4. AI features

The AI website audit and pitch generator produce automated suggestions. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated — review any AI-generated copy before you send it to a business.

5. Chrome extension

The Chrome extension is distributed by the LeadHawk team. It calls the backend URL you configure on first run. You may uninstall it at any time; uninstalling removes all extension-side storage.

6. Disclaimers

LeadHawk is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that every listing is accurate, that a business truly lacks a website, or that leads will convert. Use commercial judgement before you spend money based on scored leads.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadHawk and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or reputational harm from outreach you send.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of LeadHawk after an update means you accept the revised terms.
